I am deeply honored to serve as Brentwood Elementary’s interim principal—especially as we celebrate our school’s landmark 75th anniversary! Being part of such a dynamic and connected community is truly a privilege.

My journey in education began over a decade ago as a science and CTE teacher at McCallum High School. There, I focused on creating student-centered learning environments built on student choice, independence, and agency. My passion for instructional leadership grew into coaching fellow educators and leading campus- and district-wide professional development as McCallum’s Campus Innovation Coach.

This work led to my nomination for the University of Texas Principal Resident Program. While earning my Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy, I completed full-time administrative internships at Joslin Elementary and Lively Middle School. It was during my time at Joslin that I truly fell in love with elementary education.

Joining Brentwood as an Assistant Principal in 2023 felt like coming home. Stepping into a community whose values align so closely with my own has been incredible, and my dedication to our students and staff has only grown stronger every day.

I believe trust, collaboration, and a sense of belonging form the foundation of a thriving school community. Whether supporting students as they take on new leadership roles or partnering with our dedicated staff and families, these principles guide everything I do.

My door is always open to your ideas, feedback, and conversation. I look forward to working together to continue to build on Brentwood’s strengths while keeping our students at the heart of every decision.
