Brentwood Elementary

Fine Arts

Brentwood Elementary students are actively engaged in many exciting learning opportunities in their Fine Arts classes.  We are thrilled to welcome the traveling team from Pease Elementary this year.  At Brentwood, Encore teachers work collaboratively to plan lessons and share resources as we implement the district curriculum for our students.  The sequential and prescriptive nature of AISD curriculum materials ensure that all students benefit from learning opportunities that are founded on best practices for instruction.  It also ensures that our students are able to successfully master all of the concepts as outlined by TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).  The Encore team is committed to working together to ensure that all students have a successful and enriching year in special area classes.

Lee Anne Gardner

Mrs. Gardner graduated from the University of Texas with a Masters in Art Education, and is originally from Virginia.  She enjoys spending time with her family, and continues to pursue her own artistry in the community.  Her expertise is a tremendous asset to the Brentwood community, and she looks forward to making beautiful art with our students.

Desi Burke

Ms. Burke graduated from Texas University and has been teaching for twenty years.  She loves to foster the love of artistry in her students.  Her favorite part of teaching is seeing students work hard to create masterpieces, and seeing their pride in their work.
